Street Fighter 6 officially enters its fourth year of content with the arrival of Yasmine, the franchise's first Filipino martial artist. Now available across PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Nintendo Switch 2, Yasmine brings a unique blend of Eskrima and agility to the game's competitive scene. Trained by her grandfather alongside her older brother, Yasmine joins the roster on a quest to locate her missing sibling.
Yasmine’s combat style relies on high-speed pressure and precision strikes using her Karambit knife. Her kit is designed for aggressive, acrobatic gameplay, allowing players to effectively hunt down opponents and extend combo strings. A core mechanic for her character is the Bayani Mode, an empowered state triggered by successfully executing specific combat moves. Players can access her default Eskrima gear with Outfit 1, while her school uniform Outfit 2 is unlockable through the Avatar Arcade Mode or via Fighter Coins.
Yasmine is the first addition to the Year 4 character lineup, which also includes the upcoming releases of Arjun, Tifa from the Final Fantasy VII Remake series, and Bosch. To access Yasmine immediately, players must own or purchase the Year 4 Character Pass or the Year 4 Ultimate Pass. Her arrival is accompanied by a comprehensive balance patch for the entire roster, which players are encouraged to review via the official Battle Change List.
Capcom has also announced that the Way of the Oni × The Way of the Fist collaboration event kicks off on August 7. During this period, all players who log in will receive exclusive colors, and the Battle Hub will feature an Onimusha-inspired aesthetic. Additionally, a new Street Voter event centered on the theme of Your Favorite Genma will allow players to earn unique stickers and camera frames. With over seven million units sold, Street Fighter 6 continues to expand its competitive landscape across its Fighting Ground, World Tour, and Battle Hub modes.
